I have little interest in boring art. And by boring, I mean an exact depiction of reality. Why should I spend time observing a copy of an apple on a table, a country landscape, or even an academically painted portrait? It’s excessively simple—unless it’s a museum-worthy piece with significant historical context.

Art has never been created for the masses. To truly appreciate it, one must possess the intellect to interpret its meaning and the economic and social standing to understand its importance.
